My Wedding Services

Officiating at your wedding, civil union or vow renewal is an intimate privilege. I am honoured that you have made a connection with me and taken time to gather insights into who I am and what I will bring to your special day. I look forward to having the same honour of getting to know you both, finding out what is important to you, and sharing your love story with those who matter most to you. I really enjoy MC’ing too, and will happily step in if needed.

Simple and Sweet

This option is for those couples who would prefer a shorter, simpler ceremony.  It may be a small, intimate gathering, or there may be decent crowd - the size of the gathering doesn’t matter.  We work together to co-create your ceremony, working from standard questionnaires and resources to support your choices of elements to include in your ceremony. I would not attend a rehearsal, but could with an additional fee. After our complementary initial meet and greet, we would have one online meeting to ensure we had all bases covered, and another in the week before your ceremony to walk through the structure of the day together. This is a nice and easy, fuss and stress-free option. Let’s meet and get started!

Base fee = $450. Rehearsal can be added for additional $50.

Designed for You

Let me create a unique and personalised ceremony for you and your partner that you will treasure and remember. Think - your choice of location, music, vows, wedding rituals - and I’ll make it happen! During our planning time and lead up to the big day, we’ll have an initial face to face consult; you will complete a questionnaire to express your thoughts, ideas and dreams, and we will have another face to face or online meeting to make sure we have everything covered. We’ll have a rehearsal during the week before , and I will professionally deliver the awesome ceremony we have crafted together. I’ll be there throughout the process to support you both, and to ensure things run smoothly and to plan. Your wedding day is a day to remember, so let’s get creating!

Base fee = $600 including rehearsal.

Super Simple and Sweet

Think of the old “Registry ceremonies”, then add personalisation, on a day and at a time that you want, and a venue of your choosing, and that’s what my Super Simple and Sweet delivers. Warm, intimate, short and meeting all of the legal requirements, these ceremonies take the cost and fuss out of your ceremony. I can even provide witnesses if required. These ceremonies are really great for those having cultural marriages out of New Zealand and would like the legalities completed before or after; for those coming from overseas for a destination elopement; or for those that just want to be married without a fussy wedding. I can be flexible and meet you during the week or on weekends - let’s make it happen!

Base fee = $300. Witnesses can be provided at $50 per witness.

Registry Ceremony

As a VCANZ certified and Births Deaths and Marriages (BDM) approved Registry Celebrant, I am able to conduct Registry Ceremonies within the confines that BDM stipulate. Whether at your home or mine, at a park or a cafe, we can simply complete the legal requirements for you to be married. You will need to arrange two witnesses and the marriage license - listing myself as the registry celebrant, and I’ll sort the rest. BDM provides a helpful guide to distinguish between registry and personalised ceremonies, which you can read here. If you are interested in a registry ceremony, are happy to have your ceremony within 10km of Sunnyhills, East Auckland, and have read the link above outlining the required conditions for a registry ceremony; then please contact me to arrange your ceremony.

Fee = $90.

Regardless of the type of ceremony you select, you will need to order your marriage license online from Births Deaths and Marriages. This will cost $150 and can be ordered from three months prior to your wedding date. If you would like to receive a marriage certificate, you can order that at the same time, or at any time after, for an additional $33. I recommend you request your marriage license to be emailed to you rather than posted. When you receive your license documents, check for spelling errors, and then you can forward the documents by email directly to your celebrant.
